Our founding team — a mix of cloud engineers and AI tinkerers — had seen this up close while working on large-scale infrastructure projects. Spot instances were unpredictable. Premium RAM was overpriced. And there were no tools smart enough to handle it automatically.
So, we built one.
What started as a weekend experiment turned into a working prototype that saved over 40% on internal cloud bills. We knew we were onto something. With a bit of momentum (and a lot of coffee), that idea grew into ChinookAPI — an intelligent, self-optimizing platform for RAM allocation.
